Very good news for everyone (mostly for me).

Well, after around 5 hours of fight against Internet Explorer i finally won. I am happy to say it (so i am saying it again) i won… I WON. MrTouz WON.

So i came up and tested it over IE6 (on my PC) FF2 (on my PC) and IE7 (on my sisters PC) and for what i see there is NO bugs… at all. Problem some 1px errors which comes often because of px difference between FF and IE but that i guess there is nothing we can do about it, but the layout is working perfectly, and the forums as well.

I went over it couple times and it should be good, unfortunately i don’t think we will be able to validate the template. Main reason is that because we integrate WP and PHPBB we use bad coding, well to fix the errors given by WP and PHPBB we use bad coding… I used bad coding, you know the trick called : _

So instead of doing :

margin-left:10px;

i did

_margin-left:10px;

Basically what it does is while adding _ only IE can read it, so you can give a totally different value and IE will read the _ first. So i fixed my problems with this particular code. Also cleared some coding and fixed some divisions…
Bad part is that adding _ does not allow validation. Other than that the template is clean and nice.

So now that i am done, after 5 hours of supra coding and 2 CocaCola’s less in my fridge (3 liters inside my body :P…) at 0242 i am retiring (don’t forget i am from France!).
